This policy explains how Print By Ghost, a print-on-demand service by CottexCo.com, handles personal information when you use printbyghost.com, create an account, upload designs, place orders or contact our team.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your email address, brand name, account details, artwork, design instructions, order details, recipient and shipping information, courier labels, tracking details and support messages. When you provide another person’s delivery details, please ensure you have permission to share them for fulfilment.
Our hosting and authentication providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps and service logs to operate and protect the website.
Sign in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic identity information authorised by you, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture. We use this information to create or identify your account, authenticate you and maintain your sign-in session. Authentication and associated account information are handled through Supabase.
Google sign-in does not give us your Google password. This sign-in feature does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Google contacts. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
How we use information
We use information to manage accounts, save designs, process and fulfil orders, coordinate production and shipping, provide order updates, respond to support requests, prevent misuse and maintain the service. Artwork and production instructions are used to produce the products you request.
Service providers and sharing
Information needed to provide the service may be processed by providers supporting hosting, authentication, storage, payments and delivery, and by authorised team members handling production and support. Supabase supports account authentication and data services, and Hostinger hosts the website. Shipping details and labels may be shared with the courier involved in your order. Providers may process information outside your country.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or establish or defend legal claims.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies or similar browser storage to maintain authentication and sign-in sessions. Local storage also remembers your selected light or dark theme. Blocking or clearing this storage may sign you out or reset your preferences.
Storage, retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to operate your account, fulfil orders, provide support and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Some order and transaction records may need to be retained after an account deletion request. We use access controls and the security features of our service providers to protect information; no online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information and account by contacting us through our Contact Us page. Include the email address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before acting on a request and explain any information that must be retained.
You can revoke Print By Ghost’s Google access through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops future Google authorisation; it does not automatically delete information already stored in your Print By Ghost account. Contact us separately to request deletion.
